Intercultural education is defined as a theoretical and practical approach aimed at promoting and developing interaction between children/pupils/students/staff from different fields of diverse backgrounds and knowledge of the different cultural, religious and linguistic traditions present in schools and societies. It also includes the belief that meaningful encounter and dialogue foster mutual understanding, enrich intellectual and social life, and fight prejudice, xenophobia and racism in everyday life as well as in the classroom.
Responsibility for successful training in humane intercultural relations and successful life in a multicultural society lies within the education system as a whole, especially universities, and within them faculties that educate future preschool and primary school teachers who will professionally work in an educational institution as a learning multicultural community.
The conference Intercultural Education is a place to gain new competencies, share experiences and create partnerships to ensure continuity and an intercultural atmosphere. During the presentation of papers, theoretical analyses, research results and examples of good practice conclusions will be drawn in a constructive discussion.
Investment in human capital is one of the most important foundations for the sustainable development of human beings, individual growth and development, as well as society as a whole. Maintaining diversity and global exchange of goods is one of the greatest challenges facing humanity today, the solution of which largely depends on the principles governing relations between individuals in the society, and will be reflected in interdisciplinary topics within the framework of scientific and professional papers of the conference Intercultural Education.

Complete submitted papers will undergo a double blind review and positively reviewed papers will be published in the Proceedings.
